Preferences

To open the application and proceed to the Preferences option located under the File menu, which will prompt the preferences window to appear.

CUSTOM LOGO (PRO)

The custom logo option enables you to select a logo to appear in the reports. The logos in the reports are sized at 50x50, so it's recommended to use an image with this dimension for optimal display. Supports JPEG or PNG format images.

EXPORT FULL RES. STILLS

When Export Full Res. Stills is enabled, the still images will be saved as JPGs to a folder at the designated destination at the current DaVinci Resolve resolution. If disabled, no stills will be saved.

ADDITIONAL LOW RES. STILLS

When Additional Low Res Stills is enabled, low-resolution copies of the images will be saved as JPGs in a folder called 'Low-Res' alongside the high-resolution images. If disabled, no low-resolution stills will be saved.

This option cannot be used unless Export Full Res. Stills is enabled.

OPEN DESTINATION FOLDER

When Open Destination Folder is enabled, the destination will automatically open in a Windows Explorer or macOS Finder window upon completion of the export. If nothing will happen.

INCLUDE CLIP NAME IN REPORT (PRO)

When the Include Clip Name In Report feature is activated, it enhances your reports with an extra column. This column presents the name of the clip located on the uppermost track beneath the markers.

For limitations of this feature, please read the warning information at the end.

USE CLIP TIMECODE FOR SINGLE FRAME MARKER (PRO)

When activated, the Use Clip Timecode For Single Frame Marker feature automatically updates single marker data to match the underlying clip's data in the timeline. This ensures accurate start, end, and duration timings for clips as it appears in your edit without the need for manually setting duration markers.

For limitations of this feature, please read the warning information at the end.

DISPLAY DURATION AS FRAME COUNT (PRO)

When the Display Duration as Frame Count feature is activated, the duration column in the reports are shown as frame count instead of timecode format.

DaVinci Resolve prioritizes the highest video item in the track underneath the marker when retrieving clip information. If there is more than one video clip, including Compound Clips and Adjustment Clips, beneath the marker, it will retrieve data from the highest clip. This affects the following features:

  • Use Clip Timecode for Single Frame Markers

  • Include Clip Name in Reports

To ensure the marker reflects a specific clip, you will need to disable or delete tracks or clips that are higher in the stack.
