# macOS Uninstall

## Uninstall ReMark X

### Deactivate License

Please ensure you [deactivate ](https://igrey-post.gitbook.io/igrey-post/activating-deactivating#deactivation)any active licenses before uninstalling ReMark X.

### Uninstallation Process

To uninstall the ReMark X app from your Mac, follow these steps:

1. **Delete ReMark X App**:
   * Open a Finder window.
   * Navigate to `/Applications`.
   * Locate the "ReMark X" app.
   * Drag the "ReMark X" app to the Trash (bin) icon on your Dock.
2. **Remove ReMark X Folders**:
   * Open a Finder window.
   * Go to `/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Fusion/Scripts/Utility/`.
   * Find the "ReMarkX" folder.
   * Drag the "ReMarkX" folder to the Trash (bin) icon on your Dock.
   * Go to `/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Application Support/`.
   * Find the "RemarkX" folder.
   * Drag the "RemarkX" folder to the Trash (bin) icon on your Dock.
3. **Empty Trash**:
   * Right-click on the Trash (bin) icon on your Dock.
   * Select "Empty Trash" to delete the "ReMark X" app and its associated folders permanently from your Mac.

Replace `YOUR_USERNAME` with your actual username on your Mac. This process will completely remove the ReMark X app and all associated folders from your system.
